- Muncipiul judeului vecin este oraul Arad.
Vechile cladiri precum Palatul Cultural sau Teatrul de Stat atesta o bogata viata culturala. Puncte de atractie turistica se intalnesc si in imprejurimile orasului: manastirea Maria-Radna, cetatea Soimos si cetatea Siria etc.
